Off to Sirius Wharf !
Maybe not just yet. Our raving rogue from the underground gym is on the move with some kind of intentions towards this tour group. Better follow them and see what's going on.
The tourist previously blocking the way here has been picked up by the tour group. Head east to Sycorax Ruins .
Follow the tour into the ruins. This tour turns out to be anything but boring. The raving rogue exploits a distraction to trap you inside the ruins!
Stuck underground again. At least someone dropped some supplies - make sure to raid their backpack. Now it's time to find a way out. And you're in luck once again: Pytheas is here for some reason and knows just what to do!
If you haven't found any fossils already, you can find some near where you found Pytheas. You can only choose one! When you pick a fossil, some Archigloom will fly by and attack you. They'll run away with the other fossil when you scare them off.
The Fang fossil can eventually be revived into a Roxxik and the Tangle fossil can eventually be revived into a Sarphon .
Distractions over; you want to get out of here. Head back to where the rocks have trapped you (Pytheas can help you find the way). He'll demonstrate for you the proper technique to smash this sort of rock! Now you'll be able to do it, too.
Now you've escaped! The tourists are still mulling about outside, clueless about what's going on inside. You can choose whether to escort them back to Centauri City ; you'll warp there along with them unless you elect to be rude.
Now you have to get to Enceladus Cavern to rescue Kitalpha! There are multiple options for finding your way there.
The left route here is available from Centauri City and is probably the fastest route. Travel south and make your way through Argadnel Lake . There are some (mostly) optional trainers and items this way.
The right route should look familiar by now. Now all the obstacles are clear, and you can follow the path to skip over Argadnel Lake.
If you have already defeated the inverse battle trainer west of Sol City, then you can find her again on Argadnel Lake. When you defeat her again, she'll teach you a new trick to suss out hidden items!

Exploring Argadnel Lake is optional but a good place to battle a few more trainers for extra experience. Whether or not you do, go southwest and then hike your way up, back to Cepheus Pass and eventually into Enceladus Cavern .
Are you ready for some ice puzzles?
Make your way through the cavern and eventually you'll re-unite with Pytheas. Continue your route with him and eventually you'll exit out onto Tarvos Foothills . Hello Sol City ! From here, Pytheas will show you where to go.
After one last ice puzzle it's finally time for the rescue.

Once you defeat him, Kitalpha and Pytheas will exit and plan their next move (their curiosity after this whole escapade needs to be satisfied). Following up with Pytheas at his house is optional but will give you something to look forward to. If you do want to visit him, you can use your Pokenav or a city map sign to fast travel directly to his house (unless you'd rather walk through Sol City Cavern again) and back to the Pokemon center after your visit.
Either way, your next destination is Sirius Wharf, for the third gym badge! It's annoyingly close to Sycorax Ruins, so you'll have to find your way back east. There's a few options for how you might do that.
  1. If you did not want to visit Pytheas, you can continue east through Enceladus Cavern after battling the raving rogue.
  2. If you did visit Pytheas, you can take the air taxi next to the Sol City Pokemon Center back to Centauri City .
  3. If you did visit Pytheas and don't want to take the taxi, you'll have to re-tread your previous steps through Deimos Forest . If you choose this long road, there are new trainers waiting for a battle in the forest.
Whatever your choice, eventually you'll make it back to the junction where you first went to Sycorax Ruins . This time, head south. It was blocked off by some small trees before, but this time someone is there to clear the path, and show you how to do it yourself next time.
Juuuust before you can enter Sirius Wharf , there's one last obstacle in your way!

You don't have to battle as soon as you see your rival, but he won't let you pass until you do. And then you've finally arrived in Sirius Wharf ! It was never all that far away, but there really was a lot in the way, wasn't there? Now that you're here, you can challenge the gym, but it's a good idea to poke around the warehouses first to bolster your inventory, especially the TM warehouse.
And now, it's finally time to collect your third gym badge!
